This Privacy Policy explains how Zenqui, a company organized under the laws of Colombia and identified with NIT , collects, uses, stores, shares, protects, and deletes personal information in connection with Zenqui.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to personal information processed through the Zenqui website, member portal, accounts, subscriptions, meditation, mindfulness, journaling, sleep, mood, wellness features, purchases, digital downloads, customer support, email communications, and other services that link to this Policy.

3. Personal Information We Collect

3.1 Account and Identity Information

  • Name, email address, username, and account identifiers;
  • Password in hashed or otherwise protected form;
  • Date of birth or confirmation that you are at least 18;
  • Preferred language, country, general location, profile information, and communication preferences.

3.2 Subscription and Transaction Information

  • Subscription plan, purchase history, billing status, transaction identifiers, payment dates, currency, amount paid, and payment-provider name;
  • Masked payment details, billing information, refunds, reversals, disputes, chargebacks, and legally required accounting records.

Stripe, PayPal, Wompi, or another provider may process payment information directly. Zenqui does not necessarily receive or store complete card or banking credentials.

3.3 Journal and Reflection Content

  • Journal entries, reflection responses, gratitude entries, notes, goals, affirmations, saved quotations, and free-text responses.

Journal content may contain sensitive information depending on what you choose to write.

3.4 Mood, Emotional, and Wellness Information

  • Mood selections, emotional check-ins, stress-related entries, energy levels, self-esteem and confidence reflections, insecurities, wellness goals, habit records, meditation preferences, and self-reported progress.

Some of this information may qualify as sensitive personal data. Where required by law, Zenqui will request explicit authorization before processing sensitive data.

3.5 Sleep Information

  • Self-reported sleep duration, bedtime and wake-up time, sleep-quality ratings, sleep goals, sleep-related journal entries, use of sleep content, and nighttime routines.

Zenqui does not clinically evaluate this information or diagnose sleep disorders.

3.6 Meditation and Activity Information

  • Content opened or completed, listening duration, favorites, progress, streaks, completion dates, downloads, feature interactions, and notification engagement.

3.7 Device and Technical Information

  • IP address, device type, operating system, browser, language, time zone, device and session identifiers, login dates, referring pages, pages visited, diagnostic logs, error reports, security events, and approximate location derived from IP.

Zenqui does not currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or Firebase Analytics. Limited technical logs may still be processed to operate, protect, diagnose, and maintain the platform.

3.8 Cookies and Similar Technologies

Zenqui may use essential cookies, local storage, session technologies, and similar mechanisms to keep users signed in, remember settings, maintain security, prevent fraud, operate checkout, preserve session state, store cookie choices, and provide requested functionality.

Zenqui does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party behavioral analytics tools.

3.9 Communications and Support

We may collect emails, support requests, complaints, survey responses, feedback, attachments, records of interactions, marketing consent records, and unsubscribe requests.

3.10 Marketing Information

Where you opt in, we may use your name, email, language, marketing preferences, consent date and source, delivery status, and unsubscribe status.

4. How We Collect Information

We collect information directly from you, automatically through essential technical processes, from payment providers, from operational service providers, from devices and browsers, and from other sources where you have authorized disclosure or law permits it.

5. Purposes of Processing

We may process personal information to:

  • Create and administer accounts;
  • Authenticate users;
  • Provide meditation, journaling, mood, sleep, and wellness tools;
  • Save preferences and progress;
  • Process subscriptions and purchases;
  • Deliver digital products;
  • Provide customer support;
  • Send service, billing, security, legal, and opted-in marketing communications;
  • Personalize content and features;
  • Maintain, improve, diagnose, and secure the platform;
  • Prevent fraud and abuse;
  • Enforce our Terms;
  • Maintain accounting records;
  • Respond to privacy requests;
  • Comply with legal obligations;
  • Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; and
  • Generate aggregated or anonymized operational information.

Zenqui does not use journal, mood, sleep, or wellness information to make a clinical diagnosis and does not sell personal information for monetary compensation.

6. Legal Bases and Authorization

Processing may be based on prior, express, and informed authorization; performance of a contract; compliance with legal obligations; legitimate legal interests where permitted; security and fraud prevention; legal claims; and other grounds allowed by law.

For sensitive data, Zenqui will obtain explicit authorization where required and will explain that providing optional sensitive information is voluntary.

7. Sensitive Personal Information

Users may voluntarily submit sensitive information through journaling, mood, sleep, stress-management, self-esteem, and related features. Zenqui applies heightened care and uses this information only for legitimate purposes described in this Policy.

Zenqui does not intentionally use sensitive wellness content for third-party advertising, sale to data brokers, employment decisions, credit or insurance decisions, clinical diagnosis, or unrelated profiling.

8. Private Journals

Journal entries are intended to be private. Zenqui does not routinely read them. Authorized access may occur where reasonably necessary to resolve a technical problem, maintain or recover the platform, investigate suspected unlawful use or a security incident, comply with law, enforce agreements, protect legal rights, or perform restricted infrastructure functions.

Zenqui does not offer continuous human or automated crisis monitoring of journal entries.

9. Automated Personalization

Zenqui may use saved preferences, completed content, mood selections, goals, and activity history to organize or recommend content. This is not a medical assessment and does not produce a legally significant decision about you.

10. Marketing Consent

Marketing emails are sent only after opt-in or where another lawful basis clearly applies. Consent is separate from acceptance of the Terms and is not required for unrelated Services.

You may withdraw consent through the unsubscribe link, communication settings, or by emailing info@zenqui.co. Zenqui may continue sending essential transactional, legal, security, payment, and account communications.

11. Sharing of Personal Information

Zenqui may share limited information with:

  • Payment providers such as Stripe, PayPal, and Wompi;
  • Hosting, database, cybersecurity, authentication, storage, backup, email, customer-support, and software providers;
  • Lawyers, accountants, auditors, consultants, insurers, and other professional advisers;
  • Courts, regulators, law-enforcement bodies, or other competent authorities where required or permitted by law;
  • Parties involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, sale of assets, insolvency, or transfer of the Zenqui business; and
  • Other recipients where you direct or authorize disclosure.

Zenqui does not permit service providers to use personal information for unrelated independent marketing merely because they process it for Zenqui.

12. International Data Transfers

Technology, hosting, payment, communications, or support providers may process information outside Colombia. Where required, Zenqui will use legally recognized transfer or transmission mechanisms, including authorization, contractual safeguards, adequate-protection determinations, legal exceptions, or other mechanisms permitted by law.

13. Data Security

Zenqui uses reasonable technical, administrative, organizational, and human safeguards, which may include access controls, password hashing, encryption in transit, restricted administrative access, authentication controls, logging, monitoring, backups, vendor controls, confidentiality duties, security updates, incident-response procedures, and data minimization.

No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and Zenqui cannot guarantee absolute security.

14. Security Incidents

If Zenqui becomes aware of a personal-data incident, it may investigate, contain the incident, reduce harm, restore systems, notify providers or authorities, preserve evidence, and notify affected users where required or appropriate.

15. Data Retention

Zenqui retains information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described or required by law. Retention may depend on account status, subscription duration, deletion requests, accounting and tax duties, transaction requirements, fraud prevention, security logs, backup cycles, dispute periods, legal holds, and contractual enforcement.

16. No General Data-Export Feature

Zenqui does not currently provide a general automated feature allowing users to export all account, journal, mood, sleep, or activity data.

This does not limit any mandatory right of access, consultation, portability, or copy. Users may submit a legally supported request to info@zenqui.co.

17. Account Deletion

You may request deletion through the platform where available or by emailing info@zenqui.co. Zenqui may verify identity before processing.

Deletion may permanently remove profile information, journal entries, mood and sleep records, meditation history, preferences, habits, progress, and account-linked content. Certain information may remain where legally required or necessary for accounting, disputes, fraud prevention, security, legal claims, or compliance.

18. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to know, access, consult, correct, update, request proof of authorization, be informed of use, submit complaints, revoke authorization, request deletion, object to certain processing, request restriction, and access personal information free of charge in the circumstances provided by law.

19. How to Submit a Privacy Request

Send requests to info@zenqui.co with the subject “Privacy Request / Solicitud de Privacidad.” Include your name, account email, the right you wish to exercise, a clear description, relevant dates or details, and information reasonably needed to verify identity.

20. Complaints Before the Authority

Where Colombian law applies, data subjects may submit complaints to the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce after completing any required prior direct procedure.

21. Children’s Privacy

Zenqui is intended only for people aged 18 or older. Zenqui does not knowingly collect personal information from persons under 18.

22. Third-Party Services

Third-party services, including payment providers, may independently determine some of their data practices. Their privacy notices should be reviewed separately.

23. Business Communications and Social Media

When you interact with Zenqui through social media or another public platform, that platform may independently collect information. Do not publish private journal content or sensitive information in public comments.

24. Changes to This Policy

Zenqui may update this Policy because of legal changes, new features, new providers, security developments, new processing activities, or clarifications. Material changes will be notified and renewed consent requested where required.

25. Language

This Policy is available in English and Spanish. If an inconsistency arises, the Spanish-language version will govern to the extent permitted by law.
